Yoga for Runners. Hamstring, Calf & Hip intense stretch.

Tight hamstrings can result from hours of sitting as well as from extreme athleticism (as you know the hamstrings are key players in powerful movements such as sprinting and jumping).
Hamstring issues can lead to the weakening or overuse of surrounding muscles and as a result -chronic knee, hip, and lower back issues.

Workshop goal:
Increase flexibility of the hamstring and hips by focusing on alignments of the feet, knees as a conscience bring the freedom to the back body and lower back.

Suitable for:
beginners and experienced yogis. This workshop will teach you to take ownership of your practice and confidence in alignment and movement.
Challenge for advanced Yogis - deeper exploration into poses such as Bird of Paradise and Hanumanasa (Splits) and King Pigeon.
Booking an advice advisable due to popularity of workshops.

Experience: 14 years of Yoga practice experience, including 8 years of Iyengar Yoga.
Biography: Tatiana is Iyengar Yoga trained instructor and founder of Iyogabody Ltd. With a background in gymnastics and dance it was logical step for Tatiana to start a yoga journey and become a teacher after she moved to North East 15 years ago. Her classes are based in the lovely studio in North Shields and in the summer she teaches beach yoga in Tynemouth Longsands.
