Spring Yoga Day

SPRING YOGA DAY, 10:00 - 16:00

Nourished by the refreshing energy of Spring - a time for renewal, new growth and re-discovering your potential.
Through yoga we'll explore how this bright energy can inspire you to feel motivated, set meaningful intentions, and sow the seeds of growth for the months ahead.

THE DAY WILL INCLUDE:

• A nourishing and uplifting yoga practice to gently awaken your energy
• Walking Meditation in nature (weather permitting)
• Guided Meditation: supporting you with your intention setting
• Yoga Nidra - a relaxation practice to encourage deep rest and peace

In the spirit of 'sangha' (community), you're asked to bring a vegetarian item (savoury or sweet) to contribute to a shared lunch.
Drinks, fruit, and homemade vegan cakes will be provided throughout the day.

Energy Exchange: There's 1 space available as an 'energy exchange'. If your financial situation would otherwise prevent you from attending this Yoga Day, instead of paying you can contribute instead by helping to set up and clear away at the end of the day. You would need to be available from 09:00 - 17:00. Please contact Janice if you would like to apply for this Energy Exchange space.

Radiance Yoga

With Janice's gentle and inclusive approach, these classes will guide you to build confidence and trust in your body, encouraging you to love the body you're in. And when day to day life has you feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious, a class with Janice will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. 

Classes are mixed ability, with something for everyone whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced yogi. There's also a Gentle Yoga class on Thursday evenings - yoga with a focus on soothing, nourishing and relaxing - perfect if you want a gentle approach or you're recovering from illness or injury.

Janice also runs the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course, a 60-hour course to deepen your practice and knowledge of yoga. The course runs from March through to November, with monthly study days. It's a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in all aspects of yoga from anatomy to philosophy, and much more! It's also a great way to spend nurturing yourself, and connecting with others who share your passion for yoga.

Janice is qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga and holds the 500 hour Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga, and has completed further studies with the BWY: Yoga for People with Cancer and Menopause Yoga.
