Rejuvenate your mind, body & spirit with a morning of yoga. In this workshop we will move & breathe through a flowing, focussed yoga practice, designed to remove any sluggishness, restoring us to full energy. As we go through the seasons of the year, our yoga practise alters to accommodate. We ask our bodies to behave in different ways at different times of the year. For example, employing cooling practises in the summertime. Incorporating growth & renewal: how we breathe, how we move & what we eat help us to embrace all the transitional times of the year.
The workshop will include:
Pratapana ( warm up)
Asanas ( postures )
Meditation
Self massage
Pranayama(breath work)
Information on Yoga's sister science Ayurveda
Yoga Nidra ( deep relaxation ) with emphasis on healing & an explanation of San Culpa
Some useful handouts and recipes
Various teas & home baked goodies provided halfway through the workshop, please just bring along a mug.
Limited spaces, so if you fancy it......... book early!
Free parking at the venue which is a beautiful, peaceful space. I feel lucky to have found it.
