Come and let those winter blues melt away!

A morning of restorative yoga. As winter draws in it is noticeable that energy reserves begin to feel depleted. The colder weather and shorter days begin to take their toll as we notice the low lying levels of stress and anxiety affect our physical and mental health.

It is time to slow down and take more rest. We are supposed to be in semi hibernation but the pace of life accelerates as we during the festive season. This restorative experience should come at a time when things are starting to settle again and will help us to build our reserves back up. Restorative yoga gives us the opportunity to learn to relax and rest deeply and completely, helping us to feel rejuvenated.

In restorative yoga the body is fully supported by a variety of different props so that there is no active engagement of the muscles, instead they get to gently stretch, relax and open into the comfort of the props. Restorative yoga promotes deep rest and relaxation; it is the ideal way to recharge your batteries and is a real treat.
