Neck or Shoulder tension and pain? This is the workshop for you! The shoulders require a high degree of mobility and strength to perform day to day activities. As any engineer/designer will tell you, to build something with a high degree of mobility and stability is a tough ask. In this workshop we will look at technical alignment in our yoga poses to strengthen the shoulders and improve mobility, we will focus specifically on engaging the deeper muscles of the middle and upper back to access the shoulder girdle, uncovering the appropriate muscle groups to help support and soften your shoulders and upper back. We will use specific therapeutic stretches and self massage techniques (myofascial release) to release tension and restrictions.
