This yoga workshop will lead you through a series of asanas to free tension in the body in preparation for safe back bending. We will progressively move through a set of hip opening asanas and learn some basic key actions to ensure safe alignment and freedom in backbends.

Gillian is an experienced Yoga Teacher (Triyoga, BWY Accredited) and fully qualified Yoga Therapist (YogaCampus 600 Hours Diploma) having practiced yoga for 21 years and taught for over 14 years. She teaches group classes and offers Yoga Therapy sessions at The Yoga Barre in Ilkley and online via Zoom. She also offers yoga therapy and private yoga sessions in Ilkley and surrounding areas.
