Backbends can be intimidating. Especially for those that suffer from back pain or experienced an injury. Let this workshop change your perspective.

You don’t have to be hyper-mobile, a gymnast or a child to experience the benefits of backbending. Strengthen your core, open your heart, and advance your practice whilst releasing any aches and pains.

In this workshop we will go back to basics, breaking down individual elements that allow us to backbend with control and comfort. Learn how to safely awaken your spine by opening your chest and shoulders whilst lengthening your hips and strengthening your legs.

Whether flexibility is your struggle or your strength, discover ways to make the poses work for you.
