Ashtanga Yoga Glastonbury 200 hour Teacher Training 2018/19

The next Ashtanga Yoga Glastonbury Teacher Training 200 hour Diploma course, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals will begin end of July 2018.

Teaching is the next logical step to share your enthusiasm of yoga enabling others to enjoy the many benefits that you have found from your own practice.
Nancy Gilgoff says that the famous quote from Sri K Patabhi Jois is actually:
"Practice, practice...and then you teach - and all is coming".

This course will be spread over one year, beginning July 29th 2018 with a six day induction followed by eight weekend modules.
The main teacher trainer will be Jane Piddington Senior Yoga Teacher for YA Pro, assisted by Françoise Schelstraete and Susanna Graziano.
Brian Cooper, head of Yoga Alliance Professionals will guest and teach a weekend module on adjustment.
Christoph Seiland will also guest teach two days of anatomy .

All training dates will be held in Ashtanga Yoga Glastonbury's home venue - a light and airy hall in the heart of Glastonbury town yet containing the peace of the countryside

This teacher training course will provide the trainees with the knowledge and skills required to teach yoga safely and with confidence.
The training will be structured around Primary Series Ashtanga Yoga and will encourage students to find their own style and way of teaching.
It is spread over a year to encourage trainees to grow in their own practice and understanding of yoga, while developing their teaching technique and individual style.
By the end of the course trainees will qualify* as safe, creative yoga instructors ready to impart the valuable teachings of yoga to others.
