Set in the beautiful Lesnes Abbey Lodge, This course is suitable for those new to yoga and will enable you to get a better understanding of two of the key principles in yoga - asana (postures) and pranayama (breath control). We will start with a few breath awareness techniques and then work through a simple sequence of yoga asanas including standing, seated and balancing poses. We will take our time to analyse the set up and alignment in each pose. There will be plenty of time to talk about the poses and ask questions which you may not feel comfortable doing in a class setting.
The session will conclude with a deep relaxation practice followed by a tea and cake if you've got time to stick around. Following this course you will feel ready to walk confidently in to any yoga class or start your own home practice.
