Michael will be joined by Liz Murtha to lead this retreat in the quiet and beautiful location of Salisbury Cathedral Close. Full cost is based on an en-suite single room; concessional cost is based on a basic single room.

Michael is a Teacher-Trainer certified by Sri TKV Desikachar to offer training in the yoga tradition originated by his father, Sri T. Krishnamacharya. Now teaching in this tradition for over 30 years, Michael trained initially with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and then with Desikachar's representative in the UK, Paul Harvey. Michael also studied directly with Sri Desikachar on a number of occasions.Also he has taught four Foundation and two Diploma courses for the BWY, as well as teaching day seminars and leading weekend retreats. Michael continues to attend further training courses in therapeutic yoga at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandeeram founded by Sri Desikachar and he taught at all four recent World Yoga Festivals. He has special interests in Pranayama, Mudra & Bandha and is writing a book on remedial breathing. Although semi-retired, Michael's other activities include creative writing and allotment gardening. As well as classes, retreats and seminars, Michael offers 1:1 yoga tuition and therapy at his home near Tadley, North Hampshire.
