My yoga journey started with Ashtanga in 1999 and I loved the way it challenged my body and mind. It was very noticeable how quickly my flexibility and strength improved. I then explored Hatha, Sivananda and Vinyasa and still to this day enjoyed each style depending on what my body needs. It made me feel calm and relaxed and at the same time gave me this wonderful sense of deep inner peace. One of the greatest things yoga continues to teach me is to love myself the way I am, to listen to my inner wisdom and follow my life's true purpose, no matter how scary it might seem. I feel so blessed to have this practice in my life and it brings me such joy in sharing it with others. I have practised yoga all over the world in Bali, Thailand, Mexico and the UK. My 200hr teacher training was in the beautiful Tibetan Buddhist Centre - Kagyu Samye Dzong London through Yoga London and what an incredible journey this was. I continue to explore my passions and will be embarking on more training this year in yoga healing.
If you are looking for a deeper connection with your inner guide and learn how to harmonise the mind and body then a regular yoga practice is for you. It will teach you acceptance of all things and promote that inner calm that we all so desperately need to find. I am passionate about teaching adults yoga and currently offer various yoga classes within Woodley.
