I have been practicing yoga for 30 years, and qualified as a teacher 9 years ago. I have experience with Iyengar yoga, but my teaching style is Hatha yoga. I incorporate asana, breathing techniques, chanting, chakra work, yoga nidra and relaxation in my classes, I also cover yoga philosophy. Focusing within and connecting with our inner voice is encouraged.
I run yoga classes, workshops and yoga holidays, 2 years ago I gained a yoga therapy qualification in India, and run specific classes for health issues and weight issues.
I also teach mindfulness to adults, children and those suffering with mental health issues.
I am a Bowen Technique practitioner, a light touch therapy which is amazing. It is very gentle and effective, gentle rolling moves on the body encourage the body to realign itself and can be used for pain in the back, joints, asthma, migraine, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, fertility issues and many more issues.
