Join Erin Dewar and Prue Greentree in the heart of Glastonbury, Somerset, for a weekend yoga retreat in the beautiful countryside.

Our aim is to set the scene so you can take time out from your busy usual routine, to rest and rejuvenate. By providing you with a peaceful weekend in a beautiful ashram; a place which is totally conducive to allowing yourself to just Be for a while, you will feel like you have been away for a week! Enjoy the colouful countryside with a walk to the top of Glastonbury Tor, sample the local food, explore the colourful local shops.

Weekend package £350 pp based on sharing a room.
50% non refundable deposit is required to confirm your place.
Early yogi booking price £280 pp paid in full before 4th March 2017.

What's included: comfortable accommodation for two nights, all your healthy delicious vegetarian meals, yoga, relaxation & meditation sessions, a guided walk, sauna and lots of fresh country air.

Massage & holistic therapies are available at an extra cost, these take place in the beautiful sanctuary room, pre-booking is essential.

Glastonbury has been described as a New Age community which attracts people with New Age and Neopagan beliefs, and is notable for myths and legends often related to Glastonbury Tor.

Your accommodation at Shekin Ashram

Shekin Ashram is a bhakti yoga ashram, situated on the side of Chalice Hill at the base of Glastonbury Tor within easy walking distance to the town centre.
Facilities include: Sauna, Wifi, Parking and a team of holistic practitioners and body workers offering a range of therapies.
Please respect the ashram and yourself by observing the smoke, caffeine and alcohol free policy in the house and garden.
Children are welcome at the ashram.

Meals

Breakfast - ‘Superfood’ smoothie, fresh and dried fruit and nuts, muesli and cereals with rice and Soya milk and Soya yoghurt and herbal teas
Lunch - our vegan lunch menu typically consists of a variety of seasonal vegetables, a main cooked dish accompanied with a grain or rice sider and a selection of fresh salads
Dinner - soup, salads and fresh bread
Herbal teas are provided throughout your stay
All meals are healthy, delicious, vegan and gluten free. Please let us know your dietary requirements and we will acoommodate you.

The Middle Way Yoga - Yin & Yang classes in Hertford & Welwyn Garden City

Erin first came to yoga through the Mysore Ashtanga series and moved on to explore a variety of Ashtanga-based styles, Bikram and Power Yoga. After moving from Australia to London, she completed her 200Hr Power Yoga Teacher Training at Lumi Power Yoga in early 2014. Since then, she has been teaching dynamic power flow classes for all levels across London. Also a qualified primary school teacher, Erin launched the kids yoga classes at Lumi and since then has been bringing yoga to children both in and out of the school setting. In her continued search for balance and mindfulness, Erin found a great passion for practicing and teaching the deeply restorative yin yoga and meditation. Her regular retreats at Shekinashram Retreat Centre in Glastonbury each year offer a blissful dive into these practices for yogis of all ages, shapes and sizes.
