Yoga Classes - Hatha, Flow, Hot, Relaxation, Guided Meditation

My teaching...

Through fun and empathetic teaching, exploring movement, stillness and breath, I encourage all my students, from the yoga novice to the seasoned practitioner, to practice Yoga in a way that suits their body and benefits their lifestyle.

Using short flows and longer static holds to create a strong, grounding, practice with attention to alignment and use of the breath. Classes designed to give you space, strength and freedom in mind and body.

I teach Hatha, Hatha Flow and Hot Yoga classes that strengthen & lengthen top to toe whilst encouraging mindfulness & self-awareness.

I strongly believe that yoga should be accessible for everyone, regardless of body shape, flexibility, age or level of mobility.

My journey...

At the end of 2012 and I found myself in pain. Physically and emotionally. My hips hurt, my back hurt, my head hurt.

Having dabbled before with yoga in my teens, I felt a pull to go back.

I stumbled across Hot Yoga via a local studio and without realising it for the next two years yoga became my psychotherapy and my physiotherapy.

After reaping the many benefits myself, it was time to give back. I contacted the studio to tentatively get their advice on how to go about becoming a Yoga Teacher and would you believe it? They were about to launch their own teacher training! I was privileged to be accepted and in March 2016 I completed my 200 hour teacher training.

Yoga doesn't always come easy to me, at times I have a mind that wont quit and was born in a body with a variety of quirks, I've battled with my weight and my health, but despite this I have found a way to bring yoga into my life and enhance my physical and mental well being. I think its this that makes me the teacher I am. Non judgmental and empathetic to anyone who walks in the door.

Yoga shouldn't be just for the gym bunnies, the uber fit or the uber thin, all you need is an open mind, a sense of curiosity and a desire to feel a little better.
