This class is a gentle Hatha yoga class suitable for all levels of yoga. The practice is a mixture of breath led slow viniyasa sequences and held poses. The focus is on self-awareness, working to encourage a softer muscular release without using force and creating the right conditions to promote strength and alignment. Discovering an inner balance which enables a calmer mind to develop and comfort within the body.

I have been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching for 7 years. I am a fully qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher and also a teacher of the Alexander Technique, a system which educates the individual to work with ease, grace and alignment in the body.
