A general class, this class teaches students to practise and work required in an Iyengar Class.

This is a very popular class as it's based in my home studio, small, intimate, cozy with brand new flooring and atmospheric lighting.

A great way to see if this sort of yoga is for you. I have people of all ages, men and women, some with injuries or health issues some who just want to know a bit more about yoga.

Non- toe touchers welcome!

Lisa Morris - Iyengar yoga

A class for all from a tranquil home studio or online during restrictions in 2021.

Focus on alignment, anatomy and optimum health for your body, mind and soul.

There is some chanting and philosophy woven into the classes. It is an active class, with plenty of recuperative time as well.

You can build up to poses you may not think you can do... Come along and join this friendly inclusive class for all ages.
Lisa built up to become a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher in 2006.

She started learning yoga in her 20’s over 20 years ago, with a wonderful teacher called Patsy Sparksman, still her guru to this day.

Iyengar yoga has an emphasis on anatomy understanding and building stability over time. From a stable base of body and mind, we can further explore the fun stuff, with a grounding and safe anchor to real life.

This helps to improve your health and wellbeing, physically, mentally and spiritually. Attention to detail is given, with adjustments and personal corrective suggestions, by agreement. This classical approach develops stamina, strength, flexibilty and calm. We work towards inversions, with a clear safety protocol, and the teacher is experienced with all types of bodies, ages and ability.

Classes cater to both the beginners and more experienced students with alternates suggested. The use of props assists the safety and ability of the practitioner and deepens understanding.

Lisa ( your local teacher) has found yoga crucial in maintaining health, and to healing both short and long-term injuries sustained, from life outside of the studio.

She holds a friendly, caring space for students, in a beautiful purpose-built studio with a window view into the green belt fields.. on some days, we can see the cows behind the fence!
