Pregnancy Yoga

We will cover a different birth-preparation topic each week, practice yoga postures that are not only safe but beneficial for pregnancy, learn breathing techniques for labour and birth, and take time at the end of every class to relax and bond with baby. These classes are for you if you want to:

Feel strong & fit throughout pregnancy

Confident & prepared for birth and parenthood

Spend time bonding with your baby

Make friends who will have babies around the same age

If you are experiencing any pregnancy-related aches and pains like Pelvic Girdle Pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Diastasis Recti, Back Pain etc, please let me know on your booking form. Yoga can help ease discomfort in most cases but some postures need to be modified.

Classes are booked in blocks of 8 weeks and cost £98. Blocks are rolling so you can start any time. If you have any dates you cannot make just let me know at booking and I will skip these weeks for you. If you are due sooner please get in touch to discuss booking a shorter block.

I am an Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and have been a yoga teacher for over 4 years. I am passionate about supporting people perinatally, giving you the emotional support and practical advice you need to make your experience as positive as possible. Louise Burchell - Yoga, Birth & Wellbeing

I’m Louise, I teach yoga to busy women so they can exercise in a way that brings them joy, feel less stressed and spend well-deserved time looking after their body and mind.

With over a decade working in mental health plus two 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training qualifications, I love combining my knowledge of mental and physical wellness to create yoga classes that soothe the soul.

I have two young children (age 6 and 2), I’m self-employed and studying a Counselling Diploma, so I know what it’s like to put yourself at the bottom of your priority list and never have any time for yourself. Yoga is my go to for exercise, stress relief, relaxation, self-care, mental wellbeing - the lot.
