I am yoga teacher, health psychologist and academic. I have been practising yoga and meditation since my early 20’s and teaching yoga since 2013. I became a yoga teacher because yoga is such an important part of my life and a practice that I love to share with others. In my academic role, I conduct research into the health benefits of yoga, so that also feeds into my approach to teaching yoga. As both psychologist and yoga teacher, I am interested in how to live well and enhance wellbeing, whether managing stress, illness or life!
I trained with the Yoga Academy, a 200-hour BWY accredited course, qualifying in 2014. More recently I qualified as a Menopause yoga teacher (2020) and completed Yoga4Health professional training with Yoga in Healthcare Alliance (PCI accredited) (2023). Over several decades, I have attended a wide range of workshops and trainings with many international yoga and meditation teachers, providing insight into diverse styles and approaches.
