A gentler yoga class than my Flow Yoga and Pilates classes, including for time to relax. Although a gentle yoga class, most of the class involves doing physical postures, and, although options are given, it is necessary to be able to get down and up from the floor.

I started working in the fitness industry in October 2007, after completing a Health and Fitness Diploma at Kidderminster College; I began working in the gym as a fitness instructor at The Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre in Kidderminster. Whilst working at the Glades I completed various fitness courses and started teaching group classes in addition to one-on-one Personal Training.
I gained my yoga qualification in 2011. At this time, I was still working at the Glades, but not full time—because I'd set up several classes on a self-employed basis. Towards the end of 2011 I went self-employed full time, working as a group exercise instructor, which is still my current 'job'—I'm still loving it!
I teach 6 different class types: Hatha Yoga, Flow Yoga and Pilates, Modern Pilates, Tai Chi for Beginners, Yang Style Tai Chi and Active Seniors.
