There are many reasons why you might opt for a more gentle approach to class. In this Gentle practice we make modifications so that the benefits of Yoga can be experienced by everyone, regardless of age or injury. We give time to build the foundations of practice so that movement has both the qualities of stability and ease. You are encouraged to adjust the practice according to what benefits your body. Each class finishes with a Deep Rest meditation/relaxation. I look forward to meeting you on the mat!

In Somatic Yoga we focus on the internal experience of movement rather than imposing a shape on the body. Our practice reminds us that flexibility comes from releasing tension, stability arises out of firm foundations, challenge can come without strain on the body and that relaxation is an art that we need to practice!
