I am an experienced, qualified and insured yoga teacher. Having practiced yoga for some 18 years, I trained as a teacher and qualified in January 2013. Since then I have worked in gyms, offices, schools and with private clients building up over 2500 hours of teaching experience. I worked for many years as a trainer in the corporate sector. I also have a degree in psychology. I bring this diverse mix of skills to my yoga teaching and it gives me the ability to communicate clearly and creatively with people from all walks of life.
I originally qualified to teach Vinyasa flow yoga – a flowing style linking movement to breath. It can be modified to provide a challenging “power yoga” style class, or a slow restorative class, and everything in between. Since then I have studied many other styles of yoga, including Hatha, Scaravelli and Yin, and incorporate these into my own unique teaching style.
I am also trained in Adaptive yoga (yoga for people with disabilities).
