COURSE INITIATION TO ASHTANGA VINYASA YOGA
17th-21st August. The classes consist of one hour and half.
We will practice and study the theorical concepts:
- Vinyasa (Flow of the breath and movement)
- Concept of Tristana or three points of attention:
- Ujjayi Breathing.
- Bandhas.
- Drishtis.
In the guided classes we will practice the first series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, as it is taught in K.Pattabhi Jois Asthanga Yoga Institute, (KPJAYI) in Mysore, India.
We begin with sun salutations and standing positions. Classes always end with cooling asanas.

I studied Psychology , a science that as Yoga does, it studies the mind to understand our thoughts and emotions, with the goal to find wellbeing and happiness.
I travel to India and study yoga. I became Hatha Yoga instructor at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Madurai. Then I travelled again to India, this time to Mysore, where I studied an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training course. Now a days, I am a Saraswati's student at the K.Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute, (KPJAYI), in Mysore, India.
