My yoga journey first started at University in 1983, I really enjoyed the experience and practiced over the years on an ad-hoc basis.
Following a knee injury (whilst skiing) I was unable to practise my Karate training with the same intensity and needed an alternative to focus my attention on, Yoga helped with my rehabilitation and invigorated my desire to delve deeper into the world of yoga.
Over the past five years I have practised a variety of yoga styles, whilst still continuing with my Karate teaching.
As an experienced Karate instructor the transition into yoga teaching has been very enjoyable and fulfilling.
I wished to develop my understanding of yoga and that’s when I started yoga teacher training and the rest is history........
