Stretch Gently with Yoga

Yoga is suitable for everyone, so you can practise Yoga whatever your needs. You may find that your posture improves, and that you develop flexibility, stability and strength. You may start to feel less tense, physically as well as emotionally.

In Yoga classes we practice a range of physical stretches and postures that strengthen and tone the body, while also calming the mind. Be prepared to stretch, but only as far as you are able!

Sessions also include breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation. If your life is busy or stressful you may find these especially beneficial.

Anna is qualified as an Instructor in both General and Remedial Yoga, with the Yoga for Health Foundation. She is a teacher member of the Yoga for Health and Education Trust, and has been teaching Yoga for the past 11 years.

The classes are especially suitable for beginners, and for those who enjoy working gently with Yoga: “A gentle approach can still be profound”.

New students are welcome to pay the drop in rate for a few weeks before deciding to commit to the classes. For more information:

Tuesdays 7.00-8.30pm: Community 2000, Straights, Portland

Anna teaches other gentle exercise classes in and around Weymouth and Dorchester, as well as on Portland.
She is also a qualified Postural Stability Instructor and Chair-based Exercise Tutor.
