Restorative yoga is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It is a unique feeling as props, rather than your muscles support your body. A restorative yoga practice can offer a very peaceful, relaxed way of exercising and moving the body. It can also lower blood pressure, and calm your mind. A class is made up of about five poses. These supported poses allow you to completely relax into the stretch. Each pose is held for 5 to10 minutes giving you the chance to let go, breathe, and deeply relax
