This class is suitable for people who are tired, stressed, recovering from or living with an illness/disability, or have a general desire to heal and find inner quiet. The focus is on a gentle asana practice and a deeply nurturing relaxation.

Hi, I am certified with the British Wheel of Yoga and hold a certificate with Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales. I have a background in health care, previously working as a registered Occupational Therapist for over 10 years. I have recently been on maternity leave and am easing back into teaching, exploring and rediscovering parts of myself that have been forgotten after such a life changing experience! My main interest in teaching is helping people to develop an increased awareness of themselves and to loose tension. To notice when we start to interfere with 'natural' movements and how the breath can be compromised through increased effort, stress, anxiety and habitual patterns. My focus is not on making perfect shapes, rather I am interested in people learning to soften, expand and connect with themselves more deeply.
