Yoga For Mums

Hi, my name is Natasha, I am an actor and yoga teacher based in Buckinghamshire. I am passionate about yoga and have a keen interest in nutrition, both key parts of my holistic approach to mental and physical wellbeing.

I have suffered from anxiety for many years and often felt overwhelmed with everyday life. I decided to find a work-life balance. In doing so, I discovered yoga. After a short while something resonated inside, it was the answer I was searching for. I felt an almost cathartic sense of relief from the stresses in life, connecting my mind and body. It helped to create a sense of calmness, I felt more in control of my own emotions and able to manage better.

Acting work can be very uncertain and competitive. Finding a way to develop peace of mind is important and to be able to overcome obstacles and manage one’s emotions more effectively. I personally found yoga beneficial in areas I struggled with.

I also used to experience severe lower back pain. Yoga has helped to strengthen my back and ease the pain. Over the last few years, yoga has become an integral part of my life and overall well-being. This was something I wanted to explore further and help people just like me discover the all the benefits yoga has to offer. The passion had grown, so I decided to go on my journey and become a yoga teacher

I began my teacher training in January 2020 and for 6 months studied with Sweat Studios where I learned the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga. I am now a certified Hatha Yoga teacher and a member of Yoga Alliance.

I can help with the management of anxiety using meditation and pranayama breathing techniques, combined with yoga. This is for anyone who is trying to overcome anxiety and can be particularly effective for actors and other performers who, like me, find anxiety to be an issue. Back pain such as that experienced by office workers or other sedentary occupations can be greatly relieved with the gentle practice of yoga.

I teach one to one yoga for those who want more personalised help to focus on their own practice and well-being. I also teach group classes online and in person.

Yoga is for everyone, whether you are a complete beginner or intermediate, the classes can be adapted for all abilities. I want to create a holistic experience to help people like me enjoy the benefits yoga has to offer.

I am looking forward to working with you!
