Fiona Lines is founder of Cowdance, running yoga retreats, activity and traditional skills weekends and walking breaks to help people to reconnect with the outdoors, feel happier and less stressed. She also teaches yoga
Fiona started practicing yoga in 2006 to aid in recovery after a back injury, but it was not until she moved to Vancouver in 2011 that she fully embraced the practice. She discovered vinyasa flow, which offered an athletic style of yoga but without any set routines. The act of moving through a powerful set of poses not only conditioned her body but also enabled release of the mind.
Fiona teaches private classes and pre natal yoga from her home studio, set in a quiet barn conversion overlooking the hills and moors near Wycoller. She chooses to run these classes from her home in order to provide a comfortable ambiance, ensure personal attention, and so that she can provide everyone with plenty of props. Classes are small and make use of organic bolsters, blankets and pillows for comfort and deep relaxation. Lighting is soft and, as the house is set away from the road, there is no noise from traffic.
Fiona also teaches group classes. For details please see http://www.cowdance.co.uk/weekly-class-schedule
