My yoga journey began in 2002, I began a 3 year teacher training course with the British Wheel of Yoga finishing in 2011. I continue to obtain the relevant qualifications (first aid) attending CPD days, I love sharing and developing my knowledge of this ancient tool and watching the transformation in people.
The hatha yoga classes include gentle warm ups easing the body into readiness followed by a sequence of postures (asanas) to strengthen and tone the body, breathing techniques (pranayama) to help focus and still the mind, and lastly a deep relaxation, making you feel rejuvenated and calm. I encourage you to work within your own ability starting from where you are. I have also studied a Rehabilitation and injury Management Higher National Diploma to improve my knowledge to enable me to help people on a deeper level during class.
